Annie-Kim was first introduced to gymnastics at the age of 4, and later turned to dance. Over the course of her
journey, she learned to broaden her knowledge of movement. During her last year of dance, she discovered the circus
arts and decided to make it her career. Annie-Kim graduated from the National Circus School in Montréal in 2004,
and teamed up with another graduate from her year, Mariève Hémond, to create an aerial number called le Duo
Scarlette. Following its creation, this act earned the gold medal at the Sol y Circo Festival in Germany, and toured the
world for four years. It was her thirst for new challenges and the opportunity to work with Daniele Finzi Pasca that led
Annie-Kim to join Nebbia.
