Very active from a very young age, Evelyne Laforest has practised a broad range of activities including ballet, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics and several other sports. Then, stimulated by the enjoyment of pushing her limits and of expressing herself using her body, Evelyne pursued her interest in rhythmic gymnastics at the national and international levels. After ten years of competition, she left the realm of gymnastics for the artistic creativity and freedom of the circus world, and continued to challenge her physical limits by specializing in balancing. She graduated from the National Circus School in Montréal in June 2007 with a number that combined dance and balancing.
