Linda Brunelle
Costume design

Over the past decade, scenic artist and costume designer Linda Brunelle has been responsible for the design of sets and costumes for numerous shows in theatre, dance, and cinema, as well as the circus milieu. Her many projects have included the creation of the show Le Traitement de Martin Crimp, directed by Claude Poissant during the Festival des Amériques in 2006. She also acquired public recognition by receiving the Gascon-Roux Award for the costumes for Tristan et Yseult created at Théâtre du Nouveau Monde in 2004, as well as the People's Choice Award for the costumes in Le Revizor created at Théâtre Denise-Pelletier in 2003. On the international level, she designed in 2005 the costumes for the show entitled Tombouctou, 52 jours à dos de chameau created by Ahmed Ghazali in Morocco and directed by Vincent Goethals, and in 2006, she is invited by the same director to design the costumes for Salina, a text by Laurent Gaudé, presented at the Théâtre National de Lille-Tourcoing, Nord Pas-de- Calais.
